Matthew Summary by Prophetess Bishop Lucy Nduta

The book of Matthew is a Gospel that contains Narrative History, Genealogy, Parables, Sermons, and some Prophetic Oracles. It was written by Matthew (Levi), the Disciple of Christ around 48-50 A.D. The personalities of this book include the Messiah Jesus Christ, His parents Mary and Joseph, the Twelve Disciples, the prophet John the Baptist, and leaders of different kinds including government like Pilate and religious leaders such as the Pharisees, who attempt to hinder the work of Jesus.
The book of Matthew is the first of the synoptic gospels and it was written to reveal the Lord Jesus as the Messiah, the King of the Jews, from the line of David. It also was to convince the Jews that Jesus Christ was indeed their long-awaited Messiah.
  • Chapters 1-4 in Matthew mainly deal with the miracle birth of Jesus and the events surrounding His early life. This is primarily involves the commonly told Christmas story but, also includes the genealogy of Jesus all the way back to Abraham. “She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins” (1:21).
  • Chapters 5-25 consist of the ministry of Jesus from the interdiction of John the Baptist up to the point of His death at Calvary. These chapters are vital to our knowledge of Jesus Christ and are much of what we know about God living as a perfect man on Earth. These passages include Jesus’ famous Sermon on the Mount, numerous miracles, and priceless teachings to all who would listen and follow.
  • Chapters 26-28, contain the death and resurrection of Jesus. These chapters present the truth of the “Good News” and about how Jesus took the sins of the world upon Himself. This is the central theme of salvation through faith alone in Christ Jesus; His death, His burial, and His resurrection from the dead, all for the sake of sinners. Numerous and amazing Old Testament prophecies are fulfilled frequently in these final chapters. Some of these are His betrayal for thirty pieces of silver by Judas, crucifixion with two robbers, and those “wagging their heads” as Jesus while He was yet on the cross.

About Prophetess Bishop Lucy Nduta

Am a prophet from God my church is Salvation Healing Ministry Nairobi Kenya, Near Afya center at Nairobi CBD. come for your miracles and healing cause what God can do no man can do Prophetess Lucy Nduta

Few on earth can be found who display grace and confidence with such ease as the servant of the Lord Prophetess Lucy whom the Lord has blessed with a wonderful anointing for teaching, prophecy and the gifts of the Holy Spirit

Born close to 5 decades ago to a humble family, Lucy Nduta is no stranger to the intrigues and struggles of life. But that only served to train the illustrious servant of God to where the

Lord has brought her presently.

From humble beginnings favor seemed to turn its gaze on her in 1980 when she got married to her late husband Mwangi who eventually became a police inspector and with whom God blessed them with 3 sons and 2 daughters namely Kanyari,Wangari,Njoroge,Waweru and Wahu.

Listening to her give her life history is like reading a fairy tale book. In their earlier years she had to even venture out and work as a house help to feed and cater for her family besides working and taking care of her farms sometimes even at night under the moonlight to cover for the day’s hours after her husband was suspended from work.

But through it all she never relented n her love of God and continued to serve Him in various forms. It was during these hard times that she sought the Lord earnestly.

With the Lord calling her about 14 years ago, she started Salvation Healing and prayer meetings in her house before securing a floor-less structure where they held their initial services in Loitoktok a town southwest of Kenya. About 3 years later God directed her to Nairobi the capital of Kenya where she has been serving the Lord since.

Becoming a widow in 2003 October and being wrongly accused of frauds by jealous

Individuals which led her to be embroiled in two court cases since 2004 and eventually being jailed for 2 years by the court on 28th January 2009 in one of the cases, these events never deterred or made her to relent in her zeal for Jesus Christ but rather strengthened her n the call of God.

With the great hand of God upon her, the second case was squashed by another court for lack of evidence and the evidence being mere hearsay, the faithfulness of God was again proved to her when she was released before her jail term on 20th October 2009 without appeal. Of a truth God is faithful.
